USS SPROSTON (DD/DDE-577) INVITATION TO THE BOSTON REUNION SEPT 17-21 2008
LAST CALL! The 2008 Boston Reunion activities are in place. Ken Landry and Paul Morsewich have worked hard to ensure that you have a great time in Boston this year. We will stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1360 Worcester St., Natick MA. The hotel is offering us coupons for 10% off food in their Lobby Café. More Navy activities have been planned than in previous reunions, including a tour of the destroyer USS Cassin Young (DD-793), tour of the USS Constitution, lunch in the wardroom of the battleship USS Massachusetts (BB-59), Memorial Service on the fantail of the USS Massachusetts, and a bus tour of Boston. Lunch Thursday will be on your own at the convenient Shipyard Galley restaurant. Of course we will break bread at the Saturday evening banquet/raffle and Sunday morning brunch. Those traveling by air should lock in your seat and fare as soon as possible because flights will sell out early.
